I was actually prompted to read her book Full Frontal Feminism last night because of an annoying encounter at the pub on Monday. The book had been sitting on my to-read shelf for a bit but I just needed that extra push. Anyway, I was enjoying a nightcap, happily reading Voya when a man interrupts to provide his life’s story or whatever. Somehow, this came out of his mouth: "Women need to shop, they need to buy things to be happy." Well, this woman needed some written ammunition and she found it in Full Frontal. Thanks, Jessica!
